For Palestinians and Allies for a Free Palestine
Join us for this offering for Palestinians across the diaspora and allies for a Free Palestine.
In response to the emergent need for a community resourcing space as we continue to bear witness to the continued genocide of the Palestinian people, we will be holding a weekly pod meeting. Facilitated by Desiree Magsombol, Devika Shankar, and Gia Hasan, these virtual, hour-long sessions will provide relational building in community support and practical body-based tools to sustain care, hope, and action.
This group may feel supportive for you if you are experiencing:
-
Anger
-
Rage
-
Loneliness
-
Hopelessness
-
Powerlessness
-
Survivor’s Guilt
-
Heartbreak
-
Grief

What to expect in solidarity pods:
As responsive facilitators, we will hold space for the range of experiences people are having right now and offer practical body-based tools that will help you to practice accountability and to sustain your rage, energy, optimism, and advocacy for a free Palestine in our lifetimes.
As we convene as a group connected by the work of Palestinian Liberation in a virtual space, we will begin with an embodied practice, followed by a prompt. We will then invite you to a breakout session which may be one of the following, as needed:
-
people new to the work
-
people with more familiarity
-
people who are directly impacted by the genocide (Palestinians, Arabs, Muslims)
-
people who wish to practice tools including the therapeutic tremor
-
people who are new to body based tools
