Since December 2020, Devika has been providing technical assistance, training, and executive coaching for the equity, diversity, inclusion, and antiracism (EDIA) initiative with the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services.
Devika has over 13 years of experience in the field of domestic violence, working with survivors with marginalized identities, including survivors of color, immigrants, youth, and LGBTQ survivors. In her advocacy work, Devika has provided support services for individuals and families, as well as training and consultation for various services providers and organizations.
As an organizer and local leader with AF3IRM, a women of color-led, transnational feminist, anti-imperialist activist organization, Devika facilitates weekly Resilience Toolkit practice groups for members and for their partners, supporting them in building resilience and developing an embodied connection to their organizing work.
