Shadow Work for Social Justice

Imagine stepping into leadership rooted in creativity and healthy relationships—rather than fear and perfectionism.

Join us for this six-session course on somatic shadow work for leaders, guided by renowned conflict resolution practitioner and theorist Kai Cheng Thom . This offering is for anyone longing for a nourishing space to unpack and transform their worries, growth edges, frustrations, and “forbidden questions” about social change and justice work.

Together, we’ll explore how healing and embracing ourselves can help us build communities that reflect the world we want to live in—not just the wounds we carry.

In this course, you will:

• Map the unconscious fears that keep you stuck in activism or social change work

• Transform your relationship to inner and interpersonal conflict

• Build confidence in navigating hard conversations, polarized issues, and ethical dilemmas

This workshop supports participants in noticing and integrating the parts of ourselves we’ve been conditioned to disown—so we can move toward collective change with more clarity and care.

Course schedule

All Sessions are from 2:00–4:00pm ET / 11:00am–1:00pm PT / 6:00–8:00pm UTC

Each session comprises a lecture-style education component; an experiential learning segment; integration time; and a peer triad aspect.*
