From Survival to Stability – 9:00am PT on Sundays with Gia

Many people are living under sustained pressure without enough time, support, or recovery. Over time, this can look like staying alert all the time, pushing through exhaustion, over-functioning for others, shutting down, or struggling to stay connected while navigating relationships, caregiving, leadership, high-responsibility roles, and social change work.
Survival to Stability is a three-part introduction to the Lumos Transforms Resilience Toolkit, a developmental process for recognizing stress and trauma patterns, understanding what those responses are communicating, and responding with brief embodied practices that support greater internal safety, stability, and choice. Teaching, guided practice, reflection, and real-life application help participants learn to work with these patterns as they are happening.
Across three weekly sessions, participants build greater capacity to understand and respond to their own experience with self-trust, clearer boundaries, and more choice. The series supports people in staying connected to themselves and others while navigating demanding lives and changing conditions.
3 Sundays: January 10th, 17th and 24th at 9:00am-11:00am PST
Participants will:
- Recognize survival patterns as they happen
- Understand what your responses are communicating about your needs, capacity, and environment
- Learn practical tools for stress, overwhelm, and shutdown
- Access greater internal safety and build trust in your own experience
- Respond with clearer boundaries and greater choice
- Apply what you learn within relationships, caregiving, work, organizing, and other demanding parts of life
Survival to Stability is designed for adults 18 and older. No prior experience with somatics, trauma education, or The Resilience Toolkit is needed.
Live attendance is not required. You can participate live, use the recordings when needed, or complete the entire series through recordings.
From Survival to Stability is a complete foundational course that prepares you to continue practicing The Resilience Toolkit independently.
Those seeking continued practice and community can join the Alchemical Resilience Collective. For professionals seeking to integrate The Resilience Toolkit into their work, From Survival to Stability is a prerequisite for the Resilience Toolkit Facilitator Certification Program.
A note about pricing
Lumos’ sliding-scale pricing model is class solidarity in practice, a commitment to redistributing resources based on ability and need. Paying at the Actual Cost rate helps sustain the program and makes Partially Supported and Fully Supported places possible.
Actual Cost – $160*
This reflects the actual cost of offering this program, including fair wages for facilitators and staff. Choose this rate if you have stable income, access to savings or family wealth, or if your registration is covered by your employer, organization, or personal network.
Partially Supported – $80*
Choose this rate if paying the full cost would cause financial strain, if you have limited disposable income or irregular work, or you are not sponsored by an employer or organization. Your contribution supports partial cost recovery while preserving access to the course.
Fully Supported – Free†
Choose this rate if paying for the course would make it harder to meet basic needs such as housing, food, or healthcare. Fully Supported participants are essential to the integrity of our learning community. To register for a Fully Supported spot, you must first join the virtual Lumos Community. Membership is low cost and your first month is free. Once you join, you can access Fully Supported registration links through the Lumos Community Events Calendar. Each course series includes the registration link in its event description.
Notes
*Course registration does not include membership to the virtual Lumos Community.
†Free spots are only available to community members.
