Miles W. Griffis (he/him), is an award-winning independent journalist based in Los Angeles, California. He covers the Southwest, health, and queer issues.His work has appeared in High Country News, The New York Times, National Geographic, Outside, Popular Science, Them, Vogue, Vox, Wildsam, and many others. He was selected as a finalist in the Sewanee Review’s 2020, 2022, and 2023 non-fiction contests. He is the co-founder of The Sick Times, a new website covering the Long Covid crisis.
